Fair Companies found an amazing house in Spain that was built by Carlos Alonso and his sister Camino, built with a river literally running through it. It’ss designed to use water from the mountain streams and electricity from a bank of solar panels. As Mr. Alonso explains, “it is an old ranchers building, it is already situated for optimal sunlight that makes it ideal for passive solar energy efficiency.” The home is a beautiful mix of old and new and was designed to be entirely “off the grid.”
